My Yoga Journey
Since 2003, I have dedicated myself to the study of Ashtanga Yoga under the esteemed tutelage of Late Sharath Jois, initiating my sādhana at the Krishna Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute (KPJAYI) in Gokulam. In 2007, I was granted Authorization Level 1, followed by Authorization Level 2 in 2009. Notably, I was among the inaugural cohort to receive Authorisation to instruct the Intermediate Series directly from my revered Guru, Late Sharath Jois. Furthermore, I am among the select few privileged to have participated in the inaugural Teacher Intensives programme held at KPJAYI in June 2009, conducted under the joint guidance of Late Sharath Jois and his mother, Saraswati Ji. This experience provided an unparalleled insight into the lineage and methodology of Ashtanga Yoga
My Professional acumen
Originating from Costa Rica, I bring an academic background to my work, holding three Master's degrees in Law. After nearly two decades of legal practice, I was entrusted with the significant responsibility of serving as the Ambassador of Costa Rica to the Republic of India, undertaking a critical diplomatic mission from 2016 to 2018. This period represented a profound chapter in my career, demanding both intellectual rigour and diplomatic acumen.
Towards Vedic Astrology
My journey into astrology began as a search for deeper meaning, a yearning to understand the grander patterns that shape our lives. Drawn to the profound wisdom of Vedic science, I found in astrology a framework that resonated with my desire to explore the interconnectedness of existence. It was not merely a pursuit of predictive tools, but rather an exploration of cosmic influences, a quest to discern the larger narrative woven into the celestial tapestry, and ultimately, to discover a more profound understanding of my place within it.
My Vision
It is my conviction that I have been entrusted with a profound mission: to disseminate the transformative methodology of Ashtanga Yoga to a wider audience. My own experience over the past two decades has affirmed its elegance, intelligence, and deeply impactful nature.
Furthermore, I hold it as a privilege to serve as a conduit, connecting individuals to the venerable lineage of Vedic Astrology and its esteemed masters in India. Through this, I aim to facilitate a deeper comprehension of their destinies and karmic patterns within this lifetime.
In parallel, I am engaged in the pursuit of a Philosophical Doctorate in Women's Studies, a field through which I shall continue to advocate tirelessly for the equitable inclusion of women in all spheres of decision-making.
